FINAL STRAW: Trump Vows Sanctions Over ICC’s Anti-Semitic Actions; reports

President Donald Trump welcomed Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to the White House 9/26/2018

President-elect Donald Trump is planning severe sanctions against the International Criminal Court (ICC), including targeting Chief Prosecutor Karim Khan, who has been accused of leading the court with anti-Semitic bias, according to a Fox News report.

The ICC sparked controversy by issuing arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant over military actions in Gaza against Hamas, as reported by TGP.

The accusations stem from Israel’s response to the October 2023 Hamas terror attack, which killed over 1,200 people, including 40 Americans.

Mike Waltz, Trump’s pick for National Security Advisor, stated on X: “Israel lawfully defended its people and borders from genocidal terrorists. Expect a strong response to ICC and UN anti-Semitism in January.”

The ICC has no credibility and these allegations have been refuted by the U.S. government.

Israel has lawfully defended its people & borders from genocidal terrorists. You can expect a strong response to the antisemitic bias of the ICC & UN come January. https://t.co/jIalwzooeS

This move underscores the alignment between the U.S. and Israel against the influence of international organizations often accused of political bias. Netanyahu called the ICC’s action “a dangerous precedent,” while American leaders see the court as an obstacle to counterterrorism.

In a video posted on X, Netanyahu responded:

“The antisemitic decision of the international court in The Hague is a modern Dreyfus trial, and it will end the same way.”

This conflict echoes Trump’s actions during his first term, when he sanctioned the ICC for investigating U.S. actions in Afghanistan.
