President-elect Donald Trump, accompanied by First Lady Melania Trump and their son Barron, made a grand return to Washington, D.C., aboard Air Force One today, ahead of his historic inauguration on January 20.
This marks Trump’s unprecedented second, non-consecutive term as the 47th President of the United States.

According to Reuters, “Trump is expected to head immediately to his golf club in Sterling, Virginia, on the outskirts of Washington, where a crowd of some 500 guests will view a fireworks display and musical performances that include Leo Days, an Elvis impersonator and Christopher Macchio, a tenor whom Mr. Trump has previously featured at political events.”
Due to anticipated freezing temperatures and high winds, the inaugural ceremony has been moved indoors to the Capitol Rotunda. This marks the first indoor inauguration since Ronald Reagan’s in 1985.

President’s Reception and Fireworks: An evening event at Trump National Golf Club in Sterling, Virginia, featuring a fireworks display to kick off the inaugural celebrations.
Cabinet Reception and Vice President’s Dinner: Private gatherings honoring incoming cabinet members and Vice President-elect JD Vance.
Sunday, January 19, 2025:
Arlington National Cemetery Ceremony: A wreath-laying ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier to honor fallen service members.
Make America Great Again Victory Rally: A rally at Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C., featuring performances by Kid Rock and the Village People.
Candlelight Dinner: An exclusive evening event with prominent figures from various sectors, celebrating the incoming administration.
Monday, January 20, 2025:
St. John’s Church Service: The President-elect and First Lady will attend a traditional morning service at St. John’s Episcopal Church.
