Acting US Attorney for DC, Ed Martin announced his office would be charging and arresting individuals who threatened Elon Musk’s DOGE team.

Ed Martin did not name any names as he announced that arrests and charges were coming. It is unclear which laws were violated.

“Our initial review of the evidence presented to us indicates that certain individuals and/or groups have committed acts that appear to violate the law in targeting DOGE employees,” Ed Martin said.

“We are in contact with the FBI and other law-enforcement partners to proceed rapidly. We also have our prosecutors preparing,” Ed Martin added.

Earlier Monday Ed Martin sent Elon Musk a letter informing him that his office will not tolerate threats against DOGE workers.

“I recognize that some of the staff at DOGE has been targeted publicly. At this time, I ask that you utilize me and my staff to assist in protecting the DOGE work and the DOGE workers. Any threats, confrontations, or other actions in any way that impact their work may break numerous laws,” Ed Martin wrote in a letter to Elon Musk.

“Let me assure you of this: we will pursue any and all legal action against anyone who impedes your work or threatens your people. We will not act like the previous administration who looked the other way as the Antifa and BLM rioters as well as thugs with guns trashed our capital city. We protect DOGE and other workers no matter what.”

Tech reporters at Wired outed a list of DOGE workers who gained access to the US Treasury payment system over the weekend.

The Trump Admin put two top leaders at the US Agency for International Development on leave after they refused to give Elon Musk’s DOGE classified documents.

Musk’s DOGE got the classified materials on Saturday after the two officials initially withheld the materials.

The two officials, John Vorhees and Deputy Brian McGill, claimed the DOGE employees did not have the security clearance to obtain the classified materials.

However, no classified material was accessed without the proper security clearances.

Reporters at Wired tweeted out a list of DOGE workers. Soon after the DOGE workers were publicly named, others began doxxing and threatening them.

Elon Musk warned the reporters that they had committed a crime.
