Left-wing activists calling themselves the “50501 Movement” are protesting Trump, Elon Musk, government efficiency, Project 2025, and pro-America policies at all of the nation’s capital cities today.
The mainstream media is giving the protesters glowing media coverage, such as this piece at Newsweek. The new left-wing organization’s website showcased obvious Artificial-Intelligence generated images that were in contrast to the small crowds showing up to state capitals.
Here is one of the pictures they featured on their website which has a diverse, young background of people complaining about democracy and extremism:
They were active in Lansing, Michigan at the State Capital grounds where the Gateway Pundit obtained pictures and video. Their protests did not match the same demographics as the images on their website, where middle-aged and elderly white leftists angrily complained about extreme topics with extreme language.
Two of the speakers at the rally were State Representatives Dylan Wegela (D), and State Representative Emily Dievendorf (D). Wegela is a former union leader and public school teacher, and Dievendorf is a “bisexual and nonbinary” left-wing activist who goes by the plural “they.”
Other Democrat legislators present at the Lansing, Michigan protest were: Sen. Jeremy Moss (D), Rep. Laurie Pohutsky (D), Sen. Mallory McMorrow (D).
The mostly older, white, aged female protesters match the demographics of Harris voters from the November election, which skewed increasingly towards older government employees and retirees. Even left-wing media National Public Radio begrudgingly admitted that Harris had lost the youth vote to Trump. Left-wing media the New Republic admitted Harris lost the male vote. Left-wing media the New York Times admitted Harris lost 14 points among black voters as compared to Hillary Clinton in 2016.
That defeated Harris voting bloc, angry middle-aged white women often referred to socially as “Karens”, often militantly advocating for transgender rights, were seen in force in Lansing, as evidenced by these pictures.
Their protest signs were mostly complaining about Elon Musk, Project 2025, Trump, Transgender rights, among other left-wing issues. Many signs complained generally about “fascism.”
One Michigan legislator, Rep. Matt Maddock (R), decided to film the protest and walk through showcasing the event. Maddock, speaking to the Gateway Pundit, said that “the only way to stop left-wing fascism is to stand up to left-wing fascists.”
Maddock shared this video he took exclusively with the Gateway Pundit, showing the 50501 Movement’s rally in Lansing, Michigan as he tried to peacefully walk through their protest.
Disgraced left-wing Michigan reporter Craig Mauger tried to ‘victim blame’ Rep. Maddock for walking through the crowd.
While the mainstream media tries to claim that the left-wing protesters brought out ‘thousands’ or ‘hundreds’ of protesters, the actual numbers were probably in the lower range as seen below.
Online some were claiming that the protests were not organic or grassroots efforts, but were instead pushed by Democrat PACs, donors, and consultants.
WARNING: The so-called “50501 protests” are the products of a PAC and a Democrat consultant, not a movement. And it’s NOT the group “Our Revolution,” though they’re clearly aping the style, branding, and design of that organization.
