In an astounding display of renewed vigor and patriotism, the U.S. Army has shattered its recruiting goals, marking the most successful enlistment numbers in over a decade.

Under the decisive “America First” leadership of President Donald Trump, America’s youth are once again eager to serve, drawing a stark contrast to the dismal figures seen under the Biden regime.

Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth highlighted the significance of this achievement in a statement to X, revealing that December 2024 saw the best recruiting numbers in 12 years, with January 2025 setting a record not seen in the last 15 years.

“In December 2024, the US Army had its best recruiting number in 12 years. In January 2025, the Army hit its best recruiting number in 15 YEARS. BOTTOM LINE: America’s youth want to serve under the bold & strong “America First” leadership of Donald Trump,” Hegseth wrote.

The U.S. Army echoed this sentiment in a recent statement, highlighting the extraordinary success of its recruitment efforts.

“The U.S. Army recruiting achieved their most productive December in 15 years by enlisting 346 Soldiers daily into the world’s greatest Army. Our recruiters have one of the toughest jobs—inspiring the next generation of soldiers to serve. Congratulations and keep up the great work!” the post reads.

Under President Trump’s guidance, the Department of Defense has implemented significant reforms to revitalize the military’s core values.

One of his first actions was to sign an executive order eliminating diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives within the federal government, refocusing efforts on meritocracy and combat readiness.

Secretary Hegseth has been vocal about the need to restore the warrior ethos, stating during his confirmation hearing, “We do not need more bureaucracy at the top. We need more warfighters empowered at the bottom.”

Under Biden, the military grappled with recruitment crises, policy missteps, and a decline in global standing, marking one of the most severe crises since the establishment of the all-volunteer force in 1973.

Recruiting has been hampered by COVID-19 vaccine requirements as well as an increasingly woke military atmosphere where trans soldiers are give special privileges while Christian soldiers are persecuted, bases host drag shows, and leaders with a history of anti-white statements are hired.

According to Army Times, “The Army fell about 15,000 soldiers — or 25% — short of its recruitment goal this [2022], officials confirmed Friday, despite a frantic effort to make up the widely expected gap in a year when all the military services struggled in a tight jobs market to find young people willing and fit to enlist.”

The current fiscal year is likely to be even worse. The shortfall forced the Army to cut its planned active-duty end strength from 476,000 to 466,000, but according to the War on The Rocks outlet, “Army officials project that active end strength could shrink by as much as 20,000 soldiers by September, down to 445,000.

Contributing to the recruitment challenge is a significant decline in enlistment from white males, a demographic that historically constituted a large portion of the Army’s recruits.

The number of white recruits decreased by nearly half in the past five years, with the most substantial annual drop of 6% occurring from 2022 to 2023.

Conversely, Black and Hispanic recruit numbers have remained relatively stable but have grown as a percentage of total recruits due to the decrease in white recruits.

In an effort to bolster its ranks, the Air Force announced in February the revival of its Voluntary Retired Return to Active Duty (VRRAD) Program.

This initiative aims to fill up to 1,000 mid-career positions, urgently seeking pilots, combat systems officers, recruiters, and air traffic controllers.

The message is clear: America’s strength is being restored, and its enemies should take note.

The era of decline is over; under President Trump’s leadership, the United States is reclaiming its rightful place as the world’s preeminent superpower.
