A radical judge has stepped in to free a Hamas-loving student after the Trump Administration arrested him in the process of trying to become a U.S. citizen.
As The Gateway Pundit previously reported, Columbia University student Mohsen Mahdawi, a U.S. permanent resident who was born and raised in the West Bank, was detained on earlier this month by the Department of Homeland Security during a citizenship interview in Vermont.
Mahdawi has supported Hamas terrorists and bullied those who do not share his faith. Mahdawi, the co-founder of Columbia’s Palestinian Student Union, is a vocal critic of Israel defending itself against Hamas and organized protests at Columbia University until March 2024, before he stepped away for an unspecified reason.
The Trump administration used a rarely used provision in immigration law that permits it to “remove aliens who pose serious adverse foreign policy consequences for the United States.” Supporting Hamas in their cruel war against Israel certainly qualifies.
Mahdawi planned to return to Columbia in the fall for a master’s degree. But he would not have had the chance unless a Democrat judge had intervened.
Unfortunately, a federal judge in Burlington, Vermont stepped in and ordered his IMMEDIATE release from custody, as ABC News reported.
“The two weeks of detention so far demonstrate great harm to a person who has been charged with no crime,” U.S. District Judge Geoffrey Crawford, a Barack Obama appointee, said at a hearing. “Mr. Mahdawi, I will order you released.”
Marxists and Hamas supporters greeted him with wild cheers as he exited the courthouse. As the video below shows, Mahdawi can be seen throwing up two peace signs as he arrives to greet his ignorant fans.

Mahdawi proceeded to send a mocking message Trump while speaking outside the courthouse to his fans.
“I’am saying it clear and loud to President Trump and his Cabinet: I am not afraid of you,” Mahdawi said.
“What we are witnessing now and what we’re understanding is exactly what Dr. Martin Luther King has said before: Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere,” he added.
