WATCH: Scott Jennings Causes CNN Hacks to Freak Out with a Simple Question During Fiery Debate Over President Trump Throwing a Military Parade for the Army

A panel of CNN leftists dropped the mask completely and revealed exactly what they thought of America’s military following a simple inquiry from Scott Jennings.

As The Gateway Pundit reported, President Trump wants to hold a military parade to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the U.S. Army. The parade is scheduled to be held in Washington, D.C., on June 14, 2025, which happens to be Trump’s birthday.

Critics have seized on this to claim Trump is using the military as an excuse to hold a birthday party for himself. However, the date also marks the anniversary of the Continental Congress’s creation of the U.S. Army in 1775. This act laid the foundation for American independence and led to the appointment of George Washington as commander-in-chief. It’s also Flag Day, a patriotic holiday that many Americans have overlooked in recent decades.

This topic arose during a CNN panel discussion Monday night involving Jennings and a parade of left-wing hacks. The left was represented by guests Jason Carter, the late President Jimmy Carter’s grandson, New York Times Columnist Charles Blow, and former ESPN anchor Jemele Hill.

While all three, along with liberal anchor Abby Phillip, were triggered by Trump’s plan, Blow was by far the most embarrassing.

“The things that animate him…The things he really gets excited about is about branding, it is about imagery, it’s about this nationalism,” Blow fumed. “The fact that they’re gonna have this military parade, we don’t need a military parade, we don’t need to spend millions or maybe hundreds of millions of dollars to do that.”

“But we wanna do it because he has to feed his inner image monster,” he added.

After Phillip started to weigh in, Jennings interjected with a basic question, which caused the panel to erupt in chaos.

“Are you guys against the military parade?” he asked.

The leftists on the panel erupted in shock at Jennings for understandably believing that they had a problem with the military (which is par for the course with liberals). Blow then went into an even worse, unhinged rant.

“It’s a parade to show off our military, to show pride in the veterans that have defended this country — and you all are MAD about it.”

“You cannot be cutting tens of thousands of federal workers at the same time we’re gonna be wasting money on the military parade,” Blow whined.

“Why is it wasteful?” Jennings asked.

“What do we need to show off our military for?” Blow snapped. “Strongmen want to do it because they want to make their citizens cower.”

“They want to say we are strong. I am here. I have all these weapons. Aren’t you proud of me?” he continued. “We don’t need to do that. We know that our military is, you know, multiples the size of anybody else’s military on the planet.”

“We don’t need them to bring the missiles down Pennsylvania Avenue in order for us to know that.”

Jennings then interjected to remind Blow of what had happened over the last four years.

“It’s not about the size,” Jennings explained. “In the last four years, morale in the military was down; recruitment was down. There is a concerted effort going on right now at the Pentagon, and it’s already successful, to enhance recruitment and to enhance pride in the idea of joining the military.”

“I think you all are discounting the idea that a national parade for our military to show off our military, to show pride in the veterans that have defended this country, and you all are mad about it?” he added.

“Veterans?! He (Trump) was trying to rename Veterans Day!” Blow exclaimed.

Carter then started whimpering and uttered a major whopper about Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth.

“I’m SO proud of our military, but I don’t think we should be wasting money,” he complained. “The worst thing for morale that I have seen Pete Hegseth as Defense Secretary.”

“That’s the worst thing you have seen?” a stunned Jennings asked.

This is the kind of garbage that Jennings has to deal with every night on CNN. He may actually find the Senate more peaceful should he run and win.
