Judge Allison Dale Burroughs Credit: US Senate Committee on the Judiciary
An Obama judge has spat in the face of the rule of law to do the bidding of one of the most infamous colleges in America.
As Reuters reported, A U.S. District Court judge in Boston on Friday barred the Trump administration from revoking Harvard University’s ability to take in foreign students via a temporary restraining order.
The judge in question, Allison Dale Burroughs, was nominated by former President Barack Obama.
As The Gateway Pundit previously reported, DHS Secretary Kristi Noem moved to kick out thousands of foreign students enrolled at Harvard University by terminating Harvard’s international student program.
She explained this was the administration’s way of holding the Ivy League school accountable for its violent, Anti-Semitic, and pro-China activities.
“This administration is holding Harvard accountable for fostering violence, antisemitism, and coordinating with the Chinese Communist Party on its campus,” Noem wrote on X. “It is a privilege, not a right, for universities to enroll foreign students and benefit from their higher tuition payments to help pad their multibillion-dollar endowments.”
“Harvard had plenty of opportunity to do the right thing. It refused,” she added. “They have lost their Student and Exchange Visitor Program certification as a result of their failure to adhere to the law.”
The Trump administration’s salvo against Harvard came after freezing more than $2.7 billion in multi-year research grants and $60 million in contracts for the school last month. This move was made after months of Harvard coddling violence against Jewish students on campus.
Harvard filed a complaint roughly two hours before Burroughs’s ruling on Friday, calling the Trump administration’s move to prevent them from enrolling foreigners a “blatant violation” of the U.S. Constitution and other federal laws.
The school also alleged that the decision had an “immediate and devastating effect” on the university and more than 7,000 visa holders. Roughly a quarter of Harvard’s student body is made up of foreign nationals.
The Trump administration has not yet said> whether it will appeal Burrough’s outrageous ruling, according to Reuters.
