Within 24 hours, this interview was removed from social media, and police questioned Samsel.

On June 2, Ryan Samsel joined the Proud Boys podcast with host Proud Boys Leader Zachary Rehl for a two-hour interview. The two men narrated through never-before-seen video footage and compared the Justice Department’s altered videos to the originals. As they combed through the footage, they shared their accounts of why they were there, their roles, and the many lies spun by the government and left-wing media, used as weapons to break them down, turn the country against them, and turn them against each other.
Many men and women attended January 6, and many were charged, but very few pleaded guilty to a false narrative. For the first time, the Proud Boys and Ryan Samsel, who seemed to be at the center of January 6, were able to tell their story.
However, within 24 hours, police pulled Ryan Samsel over to question him about his interview, and host Zachary Rehl had his X account suspended, removing the interview from the platform. This validates that they were onto something serious. Who would have thought that this time last year, Ryan Samsel and the Proud Boys would be free to tell the untold hidden truth?
Proud Boy Zach Rehl welcomed Ryan Samsel onto the show, and they got straight to it. In the video, Zach showed a close-up of Ryan speaking with Joe Biggs, highlighting that Ryan spent no more than three seconds with Joe. Ryan explains what he said, while Zach shows what the Proud Boys were saying in the original video—nothing like what Officer Caroline Edwards testified to Congress, for which she later received the Presidential Medal from President Biden. In fact, she lied about multiple things in the videos that prove their side is the truth. For instance, she testified that Joe Biggs was stirring the crowd and yelling at her about her paycheck. The government used another protester’s rhetoric and altered the video to make it appear as if it was Joe Biggs yelling at her. She also claimed that right after she saw Ryan Samsel and Joe Biggs communicate, the two led the charge to attack police officers. However, Ryan was the first man to approach the police line, while Joe Biggs and the rest of the Proud Boys were nearly 60 yards behind him.
During the interview, Ryan Samsel raised a crucial question: how could she see them through all those people when the crowd was so tightly packed, with about 80 yards between the police line and the group? Zach then asked Ryan what Ray had spoken to him. Ryan explained he said, “Wait until we have more people.” The video’s audio supports this claim. Officer Caroline Edwards testified in front of Congress that she immediately got up after being knocked unconscious for about three minutes, suffering a cracked skull and a concussion. She claimed she then fell into a bloody hand-to-hand combat scenario, which is simply not true. Video evidence withheld in Samsel’s trial shows him pulling the officer to safety, and he explains why he did that. The footage also reveals Samsel approaching the same officer, patting her shoulder, and asking if she was okay, to which she shook her head yes.
Ray Epps allegedly tells Samsel “We need more people.”

During the interview, the two men discussed how none of this video evidence was offered to them before trial. Judges Kelly and Cobb refused to grant them this exculpatory evidence. They showed aerial footage of when the police launched an assault and fired into the crowd. Samsel talked about how Officer Caroline Edwards testified regarding her request for lethal force to be used against the protesters by Capitol Police snipers stationed on the roof that day. Thankfully, this request was denied.
The two men discussed their time in custody and the suffering they endured. They talked about the infamous photo of Samsel in a small cell, lying on the floor in just his boxers. Zach confirmed he had heard of this cell and knew of its existence. Samsel ended up in that cell because he and Zach would often communicate through the hole in the wall. Ryan thanked Zach for his support, and Zach mentioned he had seen men go into the hole and come out 30 pounds lighter.

They finally got to the core of the discussion. Zach asked Samsel why he thought the FBI treated him so poorly. Samsel responded that it was because he refused to turn against the Proud Boys and lie in accordance with the FBI’s narrative. He explained that for the first 11 months, he was unindicted, assaulted twice, and kept in 24/7 solitary confinement, being transferred every 30 days to a new jail while being denied all medical treatment. All the government wanted from Samsel was for him to say the man in the photo with the gun was Joe Biggs, which is clearly not true. The FBI tried to mislead Samsel, and when he refused to go against his morals, the torture began. The day he declined the FBI’s interview, he was dragged to the back of a block and beaten senseless, resulting in a broken face and a dislocated jaw, landing him in the ICU at Howard University Hospital. This was the tactic the FBI used to intimidate others into complying with their narrative.
This is the photo the FBI wanted to use to convince Samsel to testify that this man was Joseph Biggs. Clearly, it is not.
Zach Rehl and Ryan Samsel found themselves laughing during the interview at some of the most outrageous lies. They refrained from accusing anyone of being informants but raised questions about other individuals, such as one of Samsel’s co-defendants, who the FBI and DOJ allowed on bond without an ankle monitor and used his voice against Joe Biggs video making it look like Biggs yelling. During the trial, much of the evidence against him was suppressed because the government relied on his voice against Biggs. Samsel noted that during the trial, not much was said about him; most of his charges were dropped, resulting in a sentence of just a few weekends in jail. This raises the question: why did the government seek 20 years for Samsel while the Proud Boys received such harsh sentences?
The two men posed very controversial questions, and they believe the government owes them answers. They also think the government owes the people an explanation: why were the individuals who seemed to incite the crowd in the days leading up to January 6 and on that day released on bond and given the least amount of time? Every left-wing media outlet claims Samsel was a Proud Boy, but this is simply another lie. Prosecutors April Russo and Karen Rocklin were fired from the DOJ the same day President Donald Trump took office. Both prosecutors worked on Samsel’s case, and they used left-wing media as a weapon, telling the New York Times, Washington Post, and other organizations that Samsel was a violent criminal convicted of rape charges. However, Samsel obtained an email from prosecutor April Russo to the jail stating that he is not a sex offender. They also allowed the media to portray the Proud Boys as neo-Nazi fascists, which is another lie.
There is so much more in this interview that isn’t covered in this article; it’s simply too much. One thing is for sure: these men refused to lie about one another and did not lie about our beloved President Donald Trump. They never pleaded guilty despite all the torture, and when the world hated them, they still loved us. They were willing to suffer for what WE believe in and what WE stand for. These were the men at the forefront of a different war, a war unlike any seen in America before. One thing is certain: their story needs to be told. They earned that right and did what we would all expect from our nation’s best. They fought the good fight, and although they lost, God put President Trump in his rightful position to free them. So if they are free, why can’t they tell us their side? Why did Zachary Rehl’s account get suspended, and why did Ryan Samsel get pulled over by the local police to be questioned about his interview? Who ordered this to happen? Who’s behind this? Why is your First Amendment being violated?

Ryan Samsel makes an important statement: President Donald Trump may have given us our freedom, but our lives will forever be changed. We lost everything. Zachary Rehl missed the birth of his first child; he is a Marine Corps veteran who fought for this country. Ryan Samsel sacrificed his health and suffers from blood clots and serious health conditions to this day, struggling to find a home and proper medical care. Zachary explains how the VA cut his medical benefits. Why is this happening? “ One reason is because Zach is one of 12 people who did not receive a pardon, he was commuted, which just ends the sentence. This makes him and others ineligible for their benefits and many other things.” This is not what the people voted for. Why did their interview get taken down? Why are the police still harassing them? Why is Ryan Samsel denied welfare and proper medical care?
