WATCH: President Trump Humiliates Leftist Reporter Asking if He’ll Strike Iran – Says It’s Not Too Late for Iran to Negotiate

President Trump spoke to reporters on Wednesday morning and signaled that it’s never too late for Iran to continue negotiations with the U.S. following Israel’s attack on its nuclear facilities last week and the exchange of rockets between the two countries.

But first, he humiliated the reporter for asking if he is moving closer to striking Iran. “You don’t seriously think I’m going to answer that question,” he said, mocking her with an imitation. “Will you strike the Iranian nuclear component, and what time exactly, Sir? Sir, would you strike it? Will you please inform us so we can be there and watch?”

The comments came while the President visited the site of his new flag poles set to hoist American flags 100 feet in the sky on the North and South Lawns of the White House. The flags will be raised today, he said.

As The Gateway Pundit reported, President Trump was potentially weighing a strike on Iran during a meeting with his national security team in the Situation Room on Tuesday afternoon.

The meeting came after Trump threatened to take out Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

Trump said that Iran wants to negotiate before the war escalates.

When asked if it’s too late for negotiations to continue, he said, “Nothing’s too late. The only thing too late is Powell,” a jab at the Trump-hating Federal Reserve Chair, who he also called “stupid” during the presser.

WATCH:

Reporter: Can you talk about whether you are moving closer, you believe the U.S. is moving closer to striking Iranian nuclear facilities? Where is your mindset on that?

Trump: I can’t say that. You don’t seriously think I’m going to answer that question– will you strike the Iranian nuclear component, and what time exactly, Sir? Sir, would you strike it? Will you please inform us so we can be there and watch?

You don’t know that I’m even going to even do it. You don’t know. I may do it, I may not do it. I can tell you that Iran’s got a lot of trouble, and they want to negotiate. And I said, Why didn’t you negotiate with me before? All this death and destruction, I said to the people, why didn’t you negotiate with me two weeks ago? You could have done fine. You would’ve had a country. It’s very sad to watch this. I mean, I’ve never seen anything like it.

You know, everybody thought it was going to be the reverse. I didn’t think so. And I was telling them, you’ve got to do something, you’ve got to negotiate. And at the last minute, they said, No, we’re not going to do that, and they got hit. Remember 60 days, and then came the– 61 is going to become a very famous number. That was one hell of a hit, that first hit. That was one hell of a hit, not sustainable to be honest. It ended on the first night.

Reporter: Is it too late now?

Trump: Nothing’s too late. The only thing too late is [Jerome] Powell. Powell’s too late. Too Late Powell.
