Mike Collins (R-GA), the bill’s sponsor, released a statement commemorating its passage and thanking Republican Senators for helping to add “meaningful change” and send a comprehensive bill to President Trump’s desk.

Original story:

The U.S. House of Representatives is set to vote on the Laken Riley Act, which was previously passed in the House before the Senate passed amendments to the original bill, sending it back to the House.

As The Gateway Pundit reported, House Republicans passed the bill, honoring Laken Riley, a University of Georgia student who was recently murdered by one of Biden’s illegals. The bill requires ICE to arrest and detain illegal aliens like Laken Riley’s murderer until they are removed from the US.

159 America-hating Democrats voted against it in favor of rapists and murderers.

Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA) even claimed that the  Riley Act is about targeting people because they have brown skin.

Senator Katie Britt (R-AL) released a video earlier explaining the changes made in the Senate.

She explained that they added Senator Joni Ernst’s (R-IA) Amendment, adding Sarah’s Law, which honors Sarah Root, a young Iowa woman who was killed by an illegal driving drunk, and John Cornyn’s (R-TX) amendment, which adds protections for police officers who are attacked by illegals. “We’re excited to send this even stronger version of the Laken Riley Act over to the House, where it will receive final passage today,” Britt said. “After that, we send it to President Trump’s desk, and we’re going to make sure that America is stronger, America is more secure, and that we’re doing good things to actually achieve results for each of you.”

Rep. Tim Burchett (R-TN) also explained how the Senate amendments were “a great idea,” adding, “Several Democrats, of course, voted against it; whatever. But that’s why Trump’s in the White House, really, because we’re sick of this stuff; America is, and they should be.”

We passed the Laken Riley Act and the Senate made it a better bill by adding more. We voted on the rule so we can pass it again. I know it’s crazy but it is the system. pic.twitter.com/HIYnb56weF

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) gave a speech on the House floor earlier in support of the bill’s passage

“Well, I certainly hope we open as many prisons as possible to round up as many illegal aliens that have invaded our country and those that are breaking our laws, killing our citizens, women and children, and causing complete havoc across our great land,” Green said:

The House is expected to vote on the amended Act at approximately 5 pm ET. President Trump will undoubtedly sign this bill into law.
