Hakeem Jeffries / 60 Minutes
House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries has said that President Trump’s budget bill means a “deportation machine will be unleashed on steroids.”
Jeffries made the remarks during a nearly nine-hour-long speech aimed at delaying a vote on the budget reconciliation bill.
“The deportation machine that will be unleashed on steroids by this one big, ugly bill,” Jeffries complained.
“We know that, in fact, is the case,” he continued. “That’s not hyperbole.”

Aside from his warnings about immigration, Jeffries speech was so boring and underwhelming that even his Democratic colleagues fell asleep.
LMAO! Even DEMOCRATS are tired of Hakeem Jeffries droning on and on about nothing
They’re now SLEEPING behind him as he speaks.

Despite his valiant efforts, the “One, Big, Beautiful Bill Act” eventually passed the House Thursday afternoon by a margin of 218 to 214.
The only Republicans to vote “no” were Reps. Brian Fitzpatrick of Pennsylvania and Thomas Massie of Kentucky.
The legislation includes a sweeping pro-enforcement immigration package that empowers the federal government to ramp up deportations, detention, and border security on a massive scale.
Both Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and Customs and Border Patrol (CBP) will receive a historic budget increase, amounting to over $100 billion.
This fund will help expand detention space to more than 100,000 beds, hire thousands of new agents, and deport up to one million migrants per year.

It also allocates $46 billion to finish hundreds of miles of border wall and vastly increase surveillance infrastructure to prevent illegal aliens from passing through the net.
The bill also guts most Biden-era humanitarian protections, sharply restricts asylum access, and imposes new fees on migrants applying for work permits or protected status.
Other provisions include forcing local law enforcement to assist in immigration arrests and stripping funding from jurisdictions that refuse.
Today was a bad day for the Democratic Party and for the millions of illegal aliens residing across the country.
